Mortal Kombat X, Outstanding!

Mortal Kombat X This is my childhood fighting game. When I see Mortal Kombat, I don’t see nostalgia. Because now the game is far more interesting. It’s developed by NetherRealm Studios, and published by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. The graphic, the plot, and the gameplay are getting far better.

As the name, Mortal Kombat X is the tenth series. It was released on April 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Then it was released on May 2015 for mobile version, which are Android and iOS.

It still involves two players, or one player and the computer, fighting each other with their selected character, using a large, varied array of character specific attacks. Here are your fighters:

  • Cassie Cage (Spec Ops),
  • D’Vorah (Outworld),
  • Ermac (Outworld),
  • Erron Black (Outworld),
  • Jacqui Briggs (Spec Ops),
  • Jason Voorhees (Netherrealm),
  • Jax Briggs (Spec Ops),
  • Johnny Cage (Spec Ops),
  • Kano (Outworld),
  • Kenshi (Martial Artist / Spec Ops),
  • Kitana (Outworld),
  • Kotal Kahn (Outworld),
  • Kung Jin (Martial Artist),
  • Kung Lao (Martial Artist),
  • Liu Kang (Martial Artist),
  • Mileena (Outworld),
  • Quan Chi (Netherealm),
  • Raiden (Thunder God),
  • Reptile (Outworld),
  • Scorpion (Martial Artist),
  • Sonya Blade (Spec Ops),
  • Sub-Zero (Martial Artist)
  • and some bronze characters (lowest rank of fighters).

The game has some modes. They are a story mode (set 20 years after the previous Mortal Kombat game), Tower modes, online modes (Faction War), and the Krypt (a mode played in a first-person perspective where players explore the areas unlocking a variety of in-game items).

I think, this is so far the best fighting game I ever played. Though, in the mobile version, it often has connectivity issues.
